The Mission: At Home
Helping Hands Ministry
The Helping Hands Ministry (HHM) exists to show practical love to the Snoqualmie Valley. Seeing a real need for support and emergency relief of all kinds, the HHM will assist as the needs arise for those who find themselves in a situation where a helping hand can significantly impact their lives. Services include emergency food assistance, help with gas, rent, and utilities, as well as our weekend backpack program that provides meals to children who might go without, the HHM is approaching ministry with open eyes and open arms seeking to love those God has placed near us. The HHM exists primarily online at helpsnovalley.org as a compassionate hub, connecting people with the resources offered in our valley. You can help and support the HHM by donating financially for support and compassion, providing items for the backpack program, or volunteering your time.
Teen Challenge Women’s Center
Teen Challenge is a residential discipleship program of recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. Each November or December Church on the Ridge hosts a Christmas celebration with the ladies from Teen Challenge. We give them Christmas gifts and put on a feast to create fellowship with them.
