Serve Snoqualmie Social Distancing TENNIS League
We have gotten clearance to start the tennis league up again!
We are still expected to physically distance ourselves as much as possible, and doubles teams will have to be limited to people who live in the same household, but other than that, we should be fine.
This league will run through the summer. My first instinct is to schedule matches on weekdays between the hours of 4:00-7:00 PM, but with our extraordinary circumstances many people may have significantly more flexibility in their schedules than usual, so we need not be constrained to those hours.
The league will offer:
-New balls every week.
-Multiple matches each week.
-Singles, doubles, mixed, etc.
-Multiple skill levels.
-End-of-season tournament with trophies and everything.
The League will follow all CDC guidelines for best practices.
-No high-fives, hand-shaking, hugs, or kissing!
-Small groups scheduled at any given time, spread out at safe distances outdoors.
Games will be played at tennis courts in Snoqualmie, probably primarily at the courts at Snoqualmie Community Park next to the YMCA, but also at Jeanne Hansen, Carmichael Park, and others.
I hope we get to see you on the court! Please contact me if you have any questions at all.
