Life can grind us down and spit us out. Our best intentions and hopes can be squashed by work, bills, chores, the needs of others, and all the other things that bombard us each day (many of them quite important). How do we rise above the daily grind and live the life we want to live, the life we are called to live, and live out our faith in a way that pleases God (and us)?

We need to take the initiative to live above the fray a bit. Not that the whirlwind of life won’t hit us, we just choose to live at a different level and with a different mindset. We decide to live each day committed to Christ, and to honor Him in all we do. It comes from realizing that Jesus is Lord of all, everything—the good, the bad, our past, our present and our future. God makes zero mistakes and we can rest assured that He will not make a mess of our lives if we trust Him wholly.

A verse I’ve been meditating on this month is found in Ephesians 3:20.

“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more that we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.”

hat is different level type stuff! If you have thought it, God can do it. If you have prayed for it, God can outdo it!

My heart is greatly encouraged when I consider that God is ready and willing to act on my behalf in ways that will blow my mind, (and here’s the key) as long as I am following Him in every area of my life.

Want to rise above the daily rat race? Want to really live life? Invite the power of God to invade your space today like never before. Then watch as He goes above and beyond what you have asked or imagined.

Today is the day to really live!

You are loved and appreciated,
